I've worked on quite a bit of software over the years, much of which, for various reasons, I can't show off to the world. Here's the stuff I can.
In case you haven't been to the "What I Do" page yet, please be aware that I am a programmer, not a visual designer - some of these applications and websites are beautiful, others are a bit ugly, but, either way, I did not design their appearance unless noted otherwise. My primary contribution has generally been to implement the functionality of the software and, where applicable, to convert the graphic artist's design into a form which can be displayed on the user's screen.
Psi Rangers (2009-2010)
Browser-based game written from the ground up in object-oriented Perl using the Moose OO framework and KiokuDB object graph storage engine. This is a personal project I've been working on in my spare time, so the visual layout is my own doing.
FishTwits (2009)
Fully-custom web application aggregating fishing-related information posted to Twitter by its users. Also includes photo uploads, sending messages via Twitter, link shortening, and general social networking capabilities. (Graphic design by puddledunk design.)
Twitter::TagGrep (2009)
Perl module to watch Twitter updates for messages containing any of several tags.
My personal sites: sherohman.org, code.sherohman.org, diabetes.sherohman.org (2009)
A trio of Drupal-based sites. These are mentioned primarily because they are the most recent examples of my level of graphic design skill, but they did also call for minor code customizations to Drupal beyond the standard plugin selection and theming.
CyberPenguin (2007, 2008)
Web-based billing, customer management, workstation administration, and point-of-sale application for a cybercafe. While I cannot link directly to the application itself, as it runs only on a private network and access is limited to CyberPenguin employees, the client has prepared a case study which both details the application's functionality and includes screenshots of it in action.
Marks4Antiques (2007, 2008)
Initial project was to add on-line administration capabilities to client's existing website. Follow-up project involved addition of a custom full-text search engine with stemming, soundex matching, and fuzzy-matching capabilities.

He has helped us on several complex technical issues for our company and has explained each step in remarkable detail using plain language. Dave's wide range of expertise on several software topics has also enabled us to have a much wider cooperation than originally expected, and we definitely plan to seek his advice and support in the future.
